Golf pull carts or the golf push cart as often called, will not transform your handicap or cure your slice, nor give you shot advice, win you a poker game or cure a hangover (if they can I’m buying ten!)

Golf push carts describe the type of cart that has three or more wheels designed to be pushed. These have become extremely popular and help reduce the built up strain in the arms, back and legs that a two wheeled cart may produce.
Lets review the type of golf pull carts, what to look for and how much they’ll set you back. When buying a golf pull cart/golf push cart, consider these:
- Ease Of Assembly/ Storage: How simply does it fold? Most carts usually fold in seconds in a one or two simple type action. Also it should easily fit into your car trunk.
- Type Of Tyres: Some golf cart tires have air inside them. Some are airless which of course rules out any possibility of deflation.
- Number Of Wheels: As mentioned earlier, carts can have two, three or even four wheels. How you choose depends on your personal preferences. Some prefer to walk with the cart in front of them, whilst others prefer to pull the cart.
- Adjustability: How well the golf cart can be adjusted to suit your preferences including the handle and front tire alignment.
- Accessory Holders: Ability to hold your various golf accessories on the frame such as pencils, scorecards, markers, umbrella, golf ball, tees etc.
- Hand Brake: Does it have a hand brake assembled…this is standard for the three and four wheeled golf push cart.
- Seat: Some Golf carts actually have little fold down seats attached to them, especially useful if you’re stuck behind the worlds slowest ever group.
- Drink Holder: Does it have a beverage holder (for that wee bit of moonshine).
- Electrically powered and remote controlled: There are also golf push carts on the market which are electrically powered. They can be set to move on their own at your walking pace beside you. Others actually have the ability to be remotely controlled.
- Price: Is the cost right for you.
