· The Bag Weight: If you prefer to carry a light golf bag, Lightweight bags tend to be less than five pounds in weight.
· Top Divider System: This is a compartment system which divides your clubs when they sit in the bag for easier management of your clubs and protection.
· How Many Pockets: If you like to carry lots, then this may affect your choice.
· Rain Hood: The bag should have a rain hood to protect the clubs and inside area during rain.
- For A Golf Cart Bag:
· Handles For Lifting: You want these for lifting the bag on and off your golf pull cart or electric/drive cart.
· Access Storage Pockets: These are standard on the cart bags. Your golf bag should have one side accessible to you (the side with the pockets) whilst the other rests against the cart body.
· Top Divider System: As explained above this helps divide your clubs into a manageable and protective way- you may prefer an 8-way, 10-way, 12-way or 14-way top divider.
· Top Reversed Divider System: for use on electric driving carts. Short irons load in front of long irons and woods in the golf bag.
